This is a ii-V-I that is part of a Joe Henderson line that I lifted off of his solo on Take The A Train (from the Lush Life recording). This album was my introduction to Joe Henderson, and it’s still some of my favourite playing of his. I’ve transcribed a bunch of his lines from this record, and have broken them into pieces that are digestible, and useful in many different situations.
